Plant Care
Plant Care Guide
Welcome to our Plant Care Guide! Healthy plants start with the right care. While every plant has its own needs, these general tips will help most plants thrive.
☀️ Sunlight
- Most plants prefer bright, indirect light.
- Many cacti and succulents thrive in full sun.
- Always check the care requirements for your specific plant.
💧 Watering
- Water only when the soil has dried to the appropriate level.
- Avoid overwatering, which is one of the most common causes of plant problems.
- Cacti and succulents need less frequent watering than most houseplants.
🌱 Soil
- Use well-draining soil.
- Cacti and succulents grow best in cactus or succulent potting mix.
🌡️ Temperature
- Most plants prefer temperatures between 65°F and 80°F.
- Protect plants from frost unless they are cold-hardy varieties.
🌿 Fertilizer
- Feed plants during the growing season (spring and summer) using a balanced fertilizer.
- Follow the fertilizer label directions to avoid overfeeding.
🪴 Repotting
- Repot plants when they outgrow their container or roots begin growing through the drainage holes.
- Choose a pot with drainage holes that’s only slightly larger than the current one.
